Still typing

Koda Digital is a one-person software studio, led by a founder with more than 14 years in technology consulting and the Claude Certified Architect – Foundations (CCA-F) credential from Anthropic. The name reads as coder, and the caret at the end of the logo is the point: always building, never quite done. Every product here went from a blank folder to a live listing the same way: one person, start to finish.

The name goes deeper than the pun. Koda comes from Nekoda, a Biblical Hebrew name meaning marked — carried in Ezra and Nehemiah by families finding their way home from exile, a story about belonging if there ever was one. And by happy coincidence, koda is also Dakota for friend. We'll take all three.

Koda Baby began at the founder's own kitchen table, working out what to feed a son who had just started solids. Loanly came from a drawer full of things that belonged to other people. NAKA came from being Kenyan, far from Kenya. The pattern is the same each time: notice something a community we belong to keeps struggling with, build the smallest thing that fixes it, and put it in the app stores at a price that feels fair.
